Yes, it has had some work done, yes, it is missing some lacquer. The case will work for shipping, but not much beyond that.
No wear on stockings, slide lubes up nicely, and no dents. Horn has been cleaned inside and out, and the valve has been serviced. Tuning slides lubed. It does have a patch on the outer lower slide in the grip area.
It's a solid horn at a can't-complain-about-that price. There are no dents. Tuning crooks move as they should. Handslide crook is not dented.
I bought it because I was curious about how these things play. Now I know, and I can pass it on to the next person. Selling it for the same price I paid for it, even though I paid to have some dents taken out and the valve serviced. The reason I'm selling is that it plays between my favorite 79h and a fantastic Yammie 691. I'm trying to cut down to 4 horns (from 13).
Dillons lists these around $1100. I'm listing this for $650 +shipping (probably $35). It's a solid horn. Did I mention no dents?
