I'm looking for interest on a convertible Bach 36. Gold brass bell, unlacquered on the outside. LT slide in nickel silver, action is about 8.5/10.  Open wrap F attachment with a Bach miniball and straight brass neckpipe. Case optional.

I've had this horn for about 10 years and played it in every situation imaginable.  It just works, and it's a workhorse that keeps coming back for more.  Dark, velvety sound with great response and projection.  It's a standard gold brass bell that's a little heavier than normal 36 bells. That means this horn can run with the big boys with no trouble. Take off the valve, put in a 12C, and it's great for everything I've ever tried. This is the combo killer. The lion of pit orchestras. The community band bazooka.  The second finest tenor trombone I've ever played.

And now I play bass almost exclusively, and I'm consolidating the tenors.

Lists for over 3K. Dillon will sell you one for $2495.

$1600, shipped, ConUS from lovely Louisville, Kentucky.
