I have an Olds Ambassador trombone up for grabs.
It's actually a pretty good sounding horn! The slide is in pretty rough shape, some of the plating on the inner slide is coming off. All of the lacquer has been removed, and I have been using this as an "Applebee's" horn. (ie. a display piece on the wall.)
I'm just tired of lugging the thing around whenever I move, so I am going to part with it.
I am asking $40, buyer pays shipping. Does not include a case.
Message me if you would like pictures.

This is school rental time, you can get more than that by renting to a kid. Just add a mouthpiece and some Yamasnot. I just did that.

Also, if you have the original (Olds 3) mouthpiece in good condition, it's probably worth about as much as the horn. For a moment, I thought of getting your horn just for the mouthpiece (assuming it would be in excellent condition). But I have one good Olds 3, and I don't really play my Olds Standard very much.
Apparently the Olds 3 used to be really easy to get, and people would probably throw them at you just to make you go away. I've had repair techs tell me they used to have big boxes of them and use them to solder to in removing seriously stuck slides. But my impression is that the supply is getting thinner and thinner. Good ones seem to be going in the $40 range now.
