I'm the original owner. This is an awesome small bore (.500) jazz horn with a red brass bell. It's a true pro-level gem of a horn for a lead player.
Inner slide tubes were replaced by Getzen during a complete factory refirb, and played little since.
Lacquer is 100-percent. Slide is a 10/10. Small dent ding in bell, as pictured.
Sale includes:
- Getzen-branded hard-shell style case in like-new condition
- Leather Specialties hand grips and neck guards in perfect condition
- Schilke 51C2 mouthpiece, silver-plated in excellent condition
$650, shipped (CONUS).
This is a steal for a supremely nice, pro-level, small bore straight horn. It's a fantastic every-day player; every bit as nice as Shires or Rath for a small fraction of the price. I'm selling it because I simply don't play it any more, favoring my .547 born tenor for the type of playing I do. It's an awesome horns with amazing response, effortless slotting, and a warm/dark sound (due the the red brass bell). This horn will not disappoint.
