Title says it all - Would prefer pressfit, but I'd still be interested even with threads.

Shoot me an email at ][email protected] if you have one collecting dust...

Thanks!

What horn is this for Nick? I tell you the Kanstul H16 pipe I am using on the 16 slide I bought from you is really good!

It's pretty easy to shrink .500s or expand .485s.

To shrink, you can roll the end under pressure between a block of wood and a hard surface like a stone countertop.

To expand, find a hard cone (for me a cold chisel happens to fit), push it into the end, and rotate under pressure.

In both cases try for fit.

If you have a lathe you can be more clever.

Spare me the "yur gonna ruin 'em" comments.

Bill, I will check that out!  I have a custom made Bach .495-.500 slide with a Holton 69 bell I have been really digging, but am looking for more options.  I have a nice brasslab pipe in there now but I'm looking for something a bit more open/freeblowing.

You may want to consider trying the Michael Davis leadpipe that Shires makes.
