Just asking if it is possible to put a 12h bell section on a Conn .500" bore slide. I would think it would not be possible since the connection points would be different sizes since the 12h slide bore is .485".
And a related question, has anyone put a 12h bell on a 6h bell section? Are the parts not even remotely compatible?

Yes, same bell/slide tenon. Have never do e it that way, but have put a .485” slide on a 6H and 48H bell section.
