I saw this come up on eBay Kleinanzeigen. Looks like a really sweet horn.
Anyone played one?

Re: Conn 28h
I've owned a 38h Connstellation, which I believe was the successor of the 28h and predecessor of the 48h Connstellation. 38h was like a fat heavy 6h. I mean that in a good way. 48h is one of my favorite Conns.
So I'd guess a 28h Connstellation would also be great.

I never played one, but it looks awesome. I love those fat braces by the tuning slide. I play a 48H and it is amazing.

Re: Conn 28h
I have had a couple of 28H's. They had dual bore slides (something like .495"/.508"?) and a 7.5" bell. The slides did not mate up with a 6H I had at the time. It was an interesting two piece bell with the seam of the flare much further up the stem than usual, maybe trying to get more of a 1-piece bell feel? Neither were really my cup of tea and prefer the 38H, 48H and 6H to the 28H.

Sweet looking horn, good call about the braces--love them! Should be a good playing one too.
