True, but as well, in standard usage "gas" is just being used as an abbreviation of "gasoline".

I use my 4WD on my truck more around the farm on wet grassy hills in the summer than I do on Pennsylvania roads in the winter. But then again the last 2 winters I only ran the snowblower on my tractor once each winter. Used the tractor with a plow on several times for 2” or less.

Snowblower? What is this of which you speak? And what is this "snow" that needs to be blown?

I think I've plowed the driveway out with the tractor twice since we moved here in 1987.

That's compared to a picture we have of me standing in our driveway north of Chicago in 1979 which -- I had just shoveled out by hand -- and the snow bank is taller than I am.

But last week I wished I had 4WD because I was trying to pull a stump back over into it's hole and kept spinning the rear. Then I got somebody with a 4WD tractor and we did it in about 5 min.

But I miss the north. My wife does not.
