I'm already registered. This will be my 4th year.

Since this is a Nursing Home and it takes a while to get everybody interested n listening out in our front yard, I usually start a little concert about 2:45 PM. At 3 I break the concert, ask for a minute of silence, mention residents who passed in the last year and who were veterans, and play Taps. Since one of the veterans who passed was US Navy I'll also play Eternal Father. I'll continue playing for up to 30 minutes or until my lips give out to allow the residents to be wheeled back inside. The residents (and I) look forward to this.

This will be my fourth year - I started in 2022.
I've also volunteered to sound Taps (on my WWII U.S. Army bugle) at our city's Memorial Day celebration on May 26, in conjunction with the local American Legion chapter. They were very grateful for the "live music" offer.
