Took me a couple of years to find dependent trubores for sale.  It will not be in a matter of days.

Good luck,
Andy

I found out something interesting at ITF, there have only been 5 dependent TruBore sections ever made. I've got one (mine has the linkage modified), elmasdr has one and there is the prototype one that someone on the West Coast owns, and I don't think any of us are letting ours go without some persuasion!

I might be interested in trading mine for a dependent rotor valve section... but you'd have to convince me to part with mine!

You might have better luck finding a rotor or thayer section but I believe both of those have also been made in very low numbers... have you considered having a tech cook up a custom dependent thayer valve section?

THanks, I can have  Shires make a new DEPENDENDENT TRUBORE SET For $321O  or a Dependent Axial setup made for $2910. I thought I would see what was out there first before I went new. I have not considered having a Tech do a modification to any other valve set. I have an inline THayer setup, I was looking for something as a backup. I was also thinking the Trubores might be a better mate w a vintage bell instead of the THayers.I also have the option of buying a Used Inline TRubore setup. It is not in the USA. The owner is hesitant in sending it from his country to the USA.Talks have stalled, he is looking into it.
Thanks again for the info and your advice, John
