Testing the waters a bit. I had planned to clean this up and have it re-plated, but the silver on the rim is actually passable--a bit thin on the inner rim, and with some grind marks and other cosmetic issues on the outside, but I'd consider it playable.

It's one of the few 'pieces I've owned that really does "pop an octave." You get a flat "C" when you strike the big end, and when you strike the small end.

I polished it a bit, but I didn't want to remove any of the Vincent Bach magic from it. $90 shipped in the CONUS.

Does the throat look tight on this one? I've been looking for a more open 7.

The tightest point in the throat is .236"
