FS: Mt. Vernon Bach 42 Trombone

Finally decided to sell one of my MV's. This is untouched/unmodified from 1961. I bought it from the original owner who lives in NJ only 56 miles from MV. Standard slide, gold brass bell. All original, even paperwork from MV. Serial number is 6200.

The horn plays very well - an excellent example of the MV legacy as well as the traditional, Bach characteristic sound/core. Very easy and free in all registers and the valve is super open and zingy. I debated selling this horn for a very good reason. Nothing is wrong other than typical cosmetic markings and dings, here and there - all very doable with a qualified technician. The finish on inner slide is excellent - no silver wear. The horn is in original condition with no modifications. Slide was cleaned and bumper corks replaced/valve aligned.

Please click below for photos and please send me a note if you're seriously interested. Thank you!
