To the best of my knowledge, the V-20 is basically an Ambassador with different braces in silver plate. Bore is .495"/.510" (.515" through the f-attachment) with an 8½" bell. I've never seen one with the plate completely stripped off, but the ones with wear spots look to be yellow brass underneath. The f-attachment does have two functional tuning slides, so pulling to E is possible.

The V-25 is basically a Reynolds TO-02 "Philharmonic" bass trombone, once again with different braces and in silver plate. .565" bore (.585" through the f-attachment), 10" bell. Not sure of the bell material; the TO-02 of that era was red brass.
