Slide tube change..

Post by Tbarh »

I have a Holton 168 from 1960 which unforunately have very worn inner tubes.. I am thinking of having them replaced (also the outers) and Wonder about how to go about doing that..?.. I have noticed that M/K drawing can deliver 88H and 42 B tuning.. My tech says that in theory this should work.. I plan to keep the slide crook, outer sleeves and the left hand assembly from the 168.. Any suggestions? Experience with M/K drawing slide conversions?
Thanks !

M/K makes good tubing, I've used them in the past.

Do You happen to know the difference between 42B and 88H tubes?
Thanks
