Edwards Bass Trombone Triggers
Hey! I just recently got an Edwards bass trombone and I love it quite a lot, but I find that the Db/Gb trigger is a placed a little too high. Im sorry if this is a dumb question but how do I adjust the placement of it? Thanks!

Depending on the paddle you have you may be able to loosen it and you should be able to adjust the angle the paddle is at. Otherwise you need to bend the arm. Other members can probably give you advice in that case.

If it is not a simple adjustment made with with the paddle screws, take it to a tech to have the lever adjusted. This is not something to do yourself.

My model is a b454-E. Do you know what I would need to do?Specialk3700 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 7:50 pm Depending on the paddle you have you may be able to loosen it and you should be able to adjust the angle the paddle is at. Do you see the screws on the Gb paddle? Loosen them, and move the paddle around. If that gets the job done, great! If not, take it to a tech.

I see something that kinda resembles screws. What kind of screwdriver would I need?

You need something called an "Allen Key" or "Allen Wrench". They come in different sizes and you need the one that fits. You can often find them in sets. Big question is whether you need a Metric set or "English" set.

The Allen key should have come with the horn in a bag with key oil and a few other things.
