King 2b with Jiggs slide
A question for you people in the know. My main horn is aKing 2b from the late 40’s. I was offered a 2b from the 40’s with a Jiggs slide as a trade for another horn I have. Was thinking it would be nice to have another 2b as a backup or for outdoors. Would the Jiggs slide be significantly different? I know it’s not a duel bore. Would it sound significantly different? Notes be in a different spot and so forth? Thanks

Re: King 2b with Jiggs slide
I have used that combination for a long time and found it to be excellent! You just have to try it and see for yourself.
