This may interest a very select few people, but Mike Johnson recently uploaded some pics of a completed Contrabass Cimbasso of his own design. Looks seriously cool and I would love to try this cannon out.

I love the really low Contrabass Trombone-like instruments; those in CC and BBb, and its always exciting to see new developments in this area. Lucky to be alive in a time when such improvements are still happening.

Looks sweet. However, I'm most interested in the MJC compact cimbasso on the site...key options are Bb tenor, G, F, E, Eb, or D, with 4 compensating or 5 or 6 non-compensating rotors or pistons. Would love to hear what the G or D cimbassi sound like.
