Anybody in the Cleveland area have a Duo Gravis I can try?

Post by Kingfan »

Anybody in Cleveland/Akron/Canton or nearby areas up to having me come over with my Holton TR180 and play it back to back with your King so I can decide if I want to change horns? I got a line on a Duo Gravis coming up for sale, and fear if I go look at it I'll let my emotions take over. Thanks!
I'm not a complete idiot, some parts are still missing! :D

Thanks to bbalika who let me try his Duo Gravis. Yep, a brighter sound in the higher range and crisper with more bark in the low range than my TR180. My wife, however, thought the Holton sounded "nicer". For the kind of playing I do, the King is a better choice for me.
