Maxim Likhachev Williams Trombone?

Post by officermayo »

Just saw a live video of Leonid & Freinds. The trombonist Maxim Likhachev usually plays a Conn, but is this a Williams I spy?

Ok, thanks! Makes sense with him being Russian (I guess).
As you can tell by my signature, I don't know much about high end horns. :-)

Aren't trombones subject to the embargo that was placed after the invasion of Ukraine?

If not, maybe they should be?

Politics is a very complicated thing. But he bought it in Europe. I have never seen a Schmelzer sold in Moscow. As well as Schagerl. I bought my Schagerl Troya in Prague in 2011.
