You'd probably have to special order it. I talked with Kieth Hilson at the trombone shop, and they can be ordered.

Re: 42 slide
Are those the A47 slides that come with the removable leadpipes?

Otherwise they also have the fixed leadpipe version.

The A47 comes with the removable pipes now, but there are differences between them and the normal 42 construction. Though one of the leadpipe is a 42 one. The crook might be different? I've heard conflicting info on whether the 47 and 42 crook are the same or not

Just have a threaded leadpipe receiver put on your favorite LT slide.

They are not the same part number in the parts catalog.bassbone1993 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 7:31 pm The A47 comes with the removable pipes now, but there are differences between them and the normal 42 construction. Re: 42 slide
The Conn Selmer parts catalog shows that the 42, 47, and 50 use the same handslide crook. It does not include all of the 42/50 variants but even the models not shown on this page show this part number as the handslide crook. The "assembly" part number is different, maybe it has a different guard or something, but the crook should be the same.
Edit: I have a modern 42 and 47 here in the shop actually, just took them out. Everything looks identical, crook OD and span are identical. Pretty certain it's the same crook.

The main difference I notice besides the leapipes are the grip. I think the 47 has some yellow brass in it and isn't all nickel silver like the 42.

Yeah, I didn't see that. The handslide crook assembly is a different part number, but the crook by itself is the same.
