My understanding is that the GaG is one size fits all, that is, there is no difference between tenor and bass. Am I wrong about that?

The shtick is that you've got to bend it to fit the horn. But they don't actually fit every horn out there. They don't fit Rath horns or stock Shires TrueBore valve sections for example.

Well... it sorta fits? I know I had to bend mine like crazy to get it so I could even move the F attachment trigger without having it bump the Grip. Now it sorta fits... but I don't like where it puts my thumb.

Didn't you also have some similar shenanigans where you had to spend a significant amount of time bending it?

My hands are too small for it to be comfortable, and it is near impossible to bend it without tearing the leather. The first one I was sent tore immediately.

Initially I was worried about damaging the leather but I've bent it so much going back and forth between three different horns that I feel like it'll last until something new comes out that I feel like trying. Do you have a picture of the torn one? Or an approximation of how thick the leather was? Mine feels about as thick as the leather on some of my gloves or one of my girlfriend's purses. Pretty sturdy.

I've bent mine many times, the last few with Vise-Grips. It leaves marks but nothing has torn yet.

I did have to bend mine a fair amount to work. I also hold the grip away from the slide brace a bit to allow clearance for the F lever- I have the same issue with my Bach. For me it's not a big issue.
