FS: Horns and Mouthpieces

Post by ttf_anonymous »

Time to thin the herd a little bit and make some space for new horns that are coming in. PM me for pictures, and I'll try to get them out ASAP. I'll cover domestic shipping on the mouthpieces and split the cost on the horns.

Horns

1942 Conn 30H - $500 - Comes with original case and Conn 3A mouthpiece, everything works great on the horn, it's just to small for me. The lacquer is pretty much intact except for some contact wear and a few spots here and there. The original case is in pretty good shape, but it might need the handle replaced eventually.

1950's Martin Committee - $300 - This horn is pretty ugly, most of the lacquer is missing, but served me well on a bunch of lead gigs. This is the version with a 7 inch bell and .485 bore. I could throw in a generic coffin case that holds it, but as its pretty heavy, that will probably increase shipping costs.

Mouthpieces

Hammond Solo Alto - $50 - Feels roughly equivalent to Hammond's 14 rim, with a short shank and shallow cup in silver plate. Overall it's in good shape with no glaring issues.

Schilke Symphony D5.2* - $60 - In great shape with a little bit of tarnish.

Griego Deco .75 - $70 - The mouthpiece was gold plated, but it's faded a bunch. There are some marks on the outside of the mouthpiece, but the rim is fine. A little bit of wear on the shank.
