This is a lightweight nickel "Artisan" slide. It functions as a 42 slide, but has a slightly different design that plays bit differently than a regular 42 slide. I feel that this slide is more open feeling than a regular nickel 42 slide. Both low and high volume playing react differently than they would on a regular 42 slide; both feel more broad and refined to me. Steve Ferguson wrote about the differences in feel between the Artisan and a 42 here, which I found to be helpful:

The slide is in great shape. There is one small ding on the outer slide that I attempted to show in the above photos. It doesn't affect the slide action, which is easily the best slide action of any Bach slide I've ever played- 9.5/10.

$625 shipped (contiguous US) in a wooden Slide Dr. box.
