I love this horn, but I have way too many, and after much deliberation, I have decided to let this baby go. I bought this horn from a friend about 5 years ago when I was looking for a good beater horn, especially for marching in parades. This was my first introduction into the world of Olds, and couldn't be happier. According to the serial number of 333XXX, it is dated to 1958, and is a Fullerton model. This horn is very light and has a lot of power behind it. You can even blast without redlining and play very softly without the tone breaking up. If you are an Olds aficionado, then you know all about how great the Studios are. Because of the light weight and great power in this horn, I used it for marching for about 4 straight years. Last year, I had a cleaning and alignment done by a top level tech guy outside of Cleveland, Ohio (you can ask who he is privately), and he really cleaned up the 2 tone bell for me, which is a very cool design. He did as much as he could for the slide, which helped, but part of the inner stockings have been wearing down. I would rate it a 7 out of 10. You can always pick up a slide from a different Olds, or go the higher money route and replace the slides completely. The original case I threw out when I got this horn because it was barely being held together. So, I bought a brand new SKB case from eBay the same day and this horn has nestled in there ever since, and it is in great condition, with a few scratches here and there. Asking $300 plus shipping to CONUS or international. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

I can separate the trombone from the case if you want. Asking $250 for just the Olds Studio, $100 just for the SKB-360 case, or $300 for both of them.

Any Olds aficionados want an extra Studio? Or just an extra SKB-360 case?

I know I'm late on the thank you, but thanks for the input DJ!
This horn is still available. On eBay I have it at $400 or better offer. Here on the forum it's $300 or better offer. And like DJ said, this little horn can blow big.

I had a few offers on eBay, but there's no way I'm selling this horn and case for under $50, like many of the low-ball offers I received. The case alone is worth $100. If it was for parts, sure I'd let the horn go as scrap metal for a low price. But this horn still plays, and the case is still in great condition. The only major downside to the horn itself is some wear on the stockings, as shown in the pictures. If you would like to make me a low offer as a starting point, that's fine, so we can both come to an agreement.
